چکیده

Knowledge management concerns with acquiring, accessing and maintaining knowledge within an organization. In government, knowledge is largely related to the business processes, such as processing a variety of applications. Hence, managing the information related to business processes should also be a part of knowledge management. Furthermore, as the ground of knowledge management is comprised of ontologies, they should capture the concepts of business processes. In this paper, we represent what kind of ontologies we have developed for the knowledge and process management in e-government. We also introduce the languages we are using in representing ontologies, and the design method we are using in modeling the business processes in e-government. And most importantly, we show how we capture the concept of processes and documents to the same ontology. The gain of this approach is that it allows greater access to information and makes government more accountable to citizens.
